01. What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an added security feature that protects your account over and above just using your username and password. Even if a hacker gets access to your username and password, 2FA will prevent access to your account. Basically, it is a method of confirming a user’s digital identity on their online accounts using two different authentication factors as a combination. The process is simple after you log in to an account with your username and password, you will be asked to enter a 6-digit code that is refreshed every 30 seconds on your two-factor authentication app.

02. How do I reset my 2FA?At NDAX, we take resetting 2FA seriously. 2FA is your last line of protection from unwanted account takeover. Thus, you'll need to upload a 3d image of yourself and a copy of your Government-issued photo ID to reset your 2FA. Follow these steps to reset your 2FA: Visit https://ndax.io/auth/login Log in by entering your username and password Click RESET YOUR 2FA Enter the email associated with your NDAX account, click SEND CODE to receive an email with a 6 digit code Enter the 6 digit code, click SUBMIT CODE You will now get redirected to a screen asking you to read & agree with the User Agreement, Cookies Policy & Privacy Policy, Agree and click NEXT Select the country that issued your document Choose your document type (Passport, Driver's license, ID card, Residence permit) and upload a copy of your document Click NEXT You will now be asked to take a 3D selfie.

06. Two-Factor Troubleshooting TipWe find that most 2FA related issues are due to the time on your phone being out of sync. There is a two-minute window for 2FA confirmations so if your clock is out of sync beyond that, you will not be able to log in. Please make sure your phone is configured to sync your time with the cellular network. To make sure that you have the correct time in your Google Authenticator app follow the instructions for your operating system below.
